چکیده
Electrochemical conversion of carbon dioxide to value added multi-carbon products is great importance and a promising approach mitigate greenhouse gases. In this work, we report the fabrication electrodes by depositing Cu over metallic foils Zn, which show high faradic efficiency for CO2 formic acid, acetate, methanol. The morphology, phase oxidation state were different on two while maintaining same synthesis steps. particles embedded foil (Cu/Cu-foil) are in 3D cuboids form with flat smooth faces, whereas Zn (Cu/Zn-foil) emerge shape flowers club microspikes grown perpendicularly from root. For electrocatalytic CO2, Cu/Cu-foil shows selectivity acid ethyl acetate highest faradaic 78 % at −0.3 V vs RHE, 64 −1.0 (vs RHE) products, respectively. contrast, Cu/Zn-foil displays towards methanol, 48 indicating that product can be easily modulated changing deposited. Both electrodes, Cu/Zn-foil, long-term stable performance during conversion.

The hot cracking susceptibility can be determined by establishing the transition temperature between brittle and ductile fracture at high temperature tensile testing of in situ solidified samples. In this study we control the surface structure of Cu thin-film catalysts to probe the relationship between active sites and catalytic activity for the electroreduction of CO2 to fuels and chemicals. متن کاملFabrication of in-situ grown graphene reinforced Cu matrix composites
Graphene/Cu composites were fabricated through a graphene in-situ grown approach, which involved ball-milling of Cu powders with PMMA as solid carbon source, in-situ growth of graphene on flaky Cu powders and vacuum hot-press sintering. SEM and TEM characterization results indicated that graphene in-situ grown on Cu powders guaranteed a homogeneous dispersion and a good combination between grap...
متن کاملHNO/NO Conversion Mechanisms of Cu-Based HNO Probes with Implications for Cu,Zn-SOD
HNO has broad biological effects and pharmacological activities. Direct HNO probes for in vivo applications were recently reported, which are CuII-based complexes having fluorescence reporters with reaction to HNO resulting in CuI systems and the release of NO. Their coordination environments are similar to that in Cu,Zn-superoxide dismutase (SOD), which plays a significant role in cellular HNO...
